If you sell products enrolled in Amazon’s Transparency program, you’re familiar with the workflow: log into the Transparency portal, select a product, download a CSV of codes, generate a PDF of labels, print them, and try to keep track of what’s been used.
It works when you have one or two products. It falls apart when you have twenty. And it’s completely unmanageable at a hundred or more.
The manual workflow problem
The core issue is that Amazon gives you codes as flat files and no tools to manage them. The Transparency portal lets you download codes and generate label PDFs one product at a time. If you’re prepping a shipment with 15 different products, that’s 15 separate downloads, 15 separate print jobs, and zero visibility into how many codes you have left for each product.
Common problems sellers run into:

Running out of codes mid-shipment because nobody tracked the remaining count. No way to see which products are getting low without logging into Amazon’s portal and checking each one manually. No audit trail showing which codes were used for which shipment. FBM sellers manually looking up codes to enter into Seller Central or ShipStation for every order. No alerts when code inventory is getting low, leading to last-minute scrambles to request more from Amazon (which can take days to fulfill).
The bigger your catalog, the worse it gets. At 10 products, it’s annoying. At 50 products, it’s a part-time job. At 450 products (which is where I was), it’s unsustainable.
What a proper system looks like
Instead of Amazon’s portal and manual tracking, here’s what managing Transparency codes should look like:
Upload your code CSVs once (or better yet, connect to Amazon’s Transparency API and pull codes automatically). The system deduplicates them and links them to the right products. Walk up to a screen, scan your product barcode, enter how many labels you need, and hit Print. A PDF generates with the correct DataMatrix barcodes, ready to apply. Every code is tracked from upload to use, with a full audit trail showing who printed what, when, and for which shipment.

Your dashboard shows every product’s code inventory at a glance. Products that need attention surface first: out of stock at the top, low stock next, healthy products at the bottom. Burn rate forecasting tells you how many days of codes you have left at your current usage pace. You get email alerts before you run out, not after.

For FBM sellers, the workflow is even simpler. Scan the product, get a code on screen, copy it to your clipboard, paste it into ShipStation or Seller Central. One click per order instead of hunting through files.

Who needs this
Any Amazon seller with products enrolled in the Transparency program who is currently managing codes through Amazon’s portal, spreadsheets, or some combination of manual processes. That includes:
Brand owners applying codes to their own products before shipping to FBA. Private label sellers managing codes across a growing catalog. FBM sellers who need to provide a Transparency code with every order. Prep centers and 3PLs managing codes for multiple brand clients (where mixing up codes between clients would be a serious problem).
If you’re managing more than a handful of Transparency products, the manual approach costs you time every day and creates risk every time someone miscounts or runs out of codes.

What I use
